The Housing Excellence Awards, now in its eighth year, highlights and rewards those who are leading the way in the social housing sector.

The event has grown from strength to strength over the years, with ever-increasing audiences and a consistently high calibre of nominations.

Of course, the sector has changed since those early days and the awards have evolved alongside to reflect those changes. This year we are introducing two new categories: The Energy Efficiency Award, which will reward companies and organisations with a commitment to all things green and to carbon reduction and the Tenant of the Year award which aims to highlight the achievements of those tenants who are working tirelessly for their communities.

We have also moved the event to a new venue – The Point at Lancashire County Cricket Ground – to accommodate our ever–growing guest list. We hope to see you there on 11 May.
