We have over 13,000 employees and operatives working across 200 locations in the UK, ensuring local services are delivered to national standards.

Enterprise is experienced in the delivery of the repair and maintenance of all types of properties and has highly qualified teams providing these services for social housing. We work in partnership with a large number of Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and Arms Length Management Organisations (ALMOs) to provide services ranging from simple repairs through to full estate management. Our contract with the MoD Defence Estates sees us managing the maintenance and upgrading of over 40,000 properties of military personnel.

We believe that good housing intrinsically adds value to our communities, helping to foster health and well-being, bringing economic vitality and offering a sense of identity and character. We understand fully the value that good housing can bring and are proud to help build and maintain sustainable communities.

At Enterprise, we see the bigger picture in social housing; integrating the jigsaw pieces of estate management services in repair and maintenance, waste management, street cleansing and grounds maintenance with our resident focused projects to create a thriving, sustainable community.

The nature of our work means that we can have an immediate and direct impact on local neighbourhoods and so as an integral part of the community, we are committed to enhancing the local environments in which we operate.

We understand the importance of communicating with local residents. Our teams support innovative, engaging projects that are open to all areas of the community and are specific to local needs.

Our not-for-profit joint venture, the Enterprise Foundation is a values-driven, social enterprise company. The Foundation’s mission is to maximise the social and economic impact of Enterprise’s activities on the local communities in which it works. This is achieved by developing and delivering bespoke initiatives that integrate with mainstream service delivery. These include local job creation, vocational training, direct investment in community assets and support for SMEs and social enterprises.

Through our desire to create sustainable communities, we develop close working relationships with our customers and local residents. We recognise that each neighbourhood has its own distinctive character, so we tailor our delivery to match local needs. We offer best value, transparency and service reliability to the highest of standards.

We place the needs and requirements of residents at the centre of our reactive repairs service and planned maintenance programmes. Our housing maintenance delivery is based on a highly responsive ‘right first time’ approach. Tenants receive excellent service as a result if our investment in multi-skilled tradesmen and our innovative use of technology to allocate and report on work.

As part of our commitment to Corporate Responsibility, we ensure that our business operates in a responsible and sustainable way towards our customers, workforce and the communities and environments in which we work. Health, safety and the wellbeing of our customers and the public is our top priority. Enterprise has been awarded the RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Gold Medal Award for the fifth consecutive year. Our initiatives such as TargetZero and our Behavioural Safety Programme support our safety-focussed culture.

All of our operations are underpinned by our bespoke IT system, WorkManager. It offers intelligent planning, effective resource and cost management and provides a supply chain interface with transparent real-time reporting available to customers.

This enables the efficient management of a multi-skilled workforce spread across a large geographical area. It allocates resources effectively to reduce wastage, ensure the right materials and equipment are available, improve productivity and provide real-time updates and reports on work. Through our delivery model we are able to manage reactive maintenance works at a similar level of efficiency as that of planned maintenance works.
