Staff at Dale & Valley Homes have been raising cash to help earthquake victims in Haiti.

Employees at the offices in South Church organised a dress down day, staring competition and a cake sale and collected more than £250.

Organiser Hannah Ferguson said: “I saw the news reports and wanted to do something to help. We often have dress down days but lots of people here like baking or eating cakes so we thought that would make a bit more money. The staring competition was just a bit of a laugh, but we hope it makes a serious difference to families suffering after the earthquake.”
