Anglian wins wall insulation contract

Richmond Housing Partnership has awarded Anglian Building Products a contract to supply and install external wall insulation to a no-fines block in Hampton, Middlesex.

The three storey building, which contains 12 flats, will be insulated using the Rockwool Rockshield TC system, and new fascia, soffits and rainwater goods will also be fitted.

The Rockshield system is designed to improve the ‘U’ value from approximately 2.4 W/m2K to 0.34 W/m2K and will provide a noticeable improvement in the residents’ comfort level.

Martin Pickard, Anglian EWI technical manager, said:“This is Richmond Housing Partnership’s first external wall insulation scheme and we look forward to being able to demonstrate the many benefits of the installation to both the residents and the client.”

Work is expected to be complete within eight weeks.
