Bovis Homes meets expectations

Housebuilder Bovis Homes posted full-year results in line with forecasts today.

The firm reported a pretax profit in 2009 of £4.8million, compared with a £78.7million loss the previous year.

A statement said: "The group is now well placed to use its balance sheet strength to acquire new land for homes to support future growth."
