Clark gets national role at Sanctuary

The housing provider Sanctuary Group has appointed Simon Clark to the post of group director for housing and communities.

Reporting to group chief executive David Bennett, Clark will lead on all social housing activity across England, overseeing services to more than 60,000 properties and line-managing the respective regional teams across the group.

He was previously director of customer services following 18 months as managing director of Essex-based Rochford Housing Association, one of Sanctuary’s regional operations.

Prior to joining Sanctuary, Clark spent six years as housing and communities director for West Kent Housing Association where he helped lead the organisation to become the first to achieve three stars with excellent prospects for improvement in an Audit Commission inspection.
