Evicted for failing to pay rent

A Doncaster woman has been evicted from her council home for failing to pay her rent.

Kerry Kime, 32, of Llewellyn Crescent, Askern, was evicted after the case was heard at Doncaster County Court.

She was evicted for having rent arrears of £2,072 and ordered to pay £290 costs.

Susan Jordan, chief executive of St Leger Homes of Doncaster, said: “Eviction is always the last resort. We make every effort to support tenants but when a tenant continually fails to pay her rent we have no option but to take action.”
