Full marks for customer service

A Doncaster housing organisation has clinched the Customer Service Excellence Accreditation - a government standard that shows tenants are at the heart of everything it does.

St Leger Homes fully met 47 of the 57 standards required and the other 10 were compliant plus – meaning the company was doing over and above what is expected.

The organisation received praise from the inspector for a range of initiatives and services including its in-depth understanding of and commitment to customers, valuing staff contributions and ensuring information is relevant and meets customers’ needs.

Susan Jordan, chief executive of St Leger Homes, said: “This is our third accreditation and is fantastic news for tenants and shows them that our staff do their best to provide excellent services for them. I also want to thank staff for all of their hard work – it is their hard work that is winning us this recognition.”
