Gallions Housing Association shortlisted for awards
Gallions Housing Association is proud to have been shortlisted for three London Excellence Awards.
The awards recognise organisational quality and innovation and have been developed by London Excellence, a not-for-profit organisation which helps companies to drive business improvements.
Gallions Housing Association, which currently owns and manages just over 5,500 homes across London and the Southeast, has been listed as a 2009 finalist in the following categories:
Results focus – an organisation that is achieving results that delights all its stakeholders
People involvement and development – an organisation that maximises the contribution of its people through their development and involvement
Ambassadors’ Blue Riband Award for significant contributions to learning and development with regards to Business Excellence in the wider community
The housing association is hoping to scoop honours for the second year in a row; having won two London Excellence Awards (Leadership and Making Partnerships Work) last year.
Gallions’ chief executive, Tony Cotter, said:
“Being shortlisted in all of those categories demonstrates our commitment to our residents, stakeholders and staff. It also reinforces our focus on sustainable and challenging performance levels as well as continuous improvements. Winning again will be fabulous but being in the top three shows to others that we are moving forward and improving our business every year”.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony on 13th July at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
