Tristar Homes in Stockton have been awarded with the Investors in People (IIP) National Standard accreditation.

The prestigious accreditation has recognised Tristar’s dedication to continuous improvement through the development of their staff and organisation.

Steve Boyd, managing director for Tristar Homes said: “The IIP will help us to continue to provide excellent customer service and improve our knowledge and skills and it’s great to be recognised in providing excellent training and support for our staff. Investors in People standard is designed to help organisations of all sizes transform their business performances, by providing a framework to find the most suitable means for achieving success through their employees.

Having been built on 18 years of experience, the IIP accreditation looks set to support Tristar’s existing CSE award (Customer Service Excellence) and provide a more successful framework to Tristar Homes for its customers and employees.

Investors in People standard measures procedures, behaviour and practice against indicators containing a total of 39 criteria focusing on all aspects of the workplace from health and wellbeing, equality and diversity to literacy, language and numeracy.
