Jephson builds six homes in six months

Jephson Homes Housing Association has built six new homes in just six months in a Buckinghamshire town.

The new development, in Bletchley, has been named ‘Three Trees Close’ after the Three Trees pub which is next to the site.

All of the new residents have now moved in after builders, Kaby Developments, completed construction of the two-bedroom homes.

Sam Hewson, Jephson development officer, said: “Managing to complete the construction of these marvelous new homes in just six months has been a real achievement – it would normally take much longer for such a high quality development which shows how smoothly the whole process has run.”

Rachel Coombs, one of the new residents, has moved into one of the new affordable homes for rent with her two children.

She said: “I was really happy when I was offered the home on a starter tenancy. It’s perfect for me and my kids with a nice garden and it’s a lovely quiet area here.”

The development was supported with grant funding from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) totaling £330,000.
