Lovell takes £5.6m Leeds housing contract

Lovell has been awarded a £5.6m contract to build 61 new affordable homes across three sites in Leeds for Accent Foundation housing association.

The new homes will be a mix of flats, houses and bungalows and will be built at Farrow Road, Armley; Chaucer Gardens, Pudsey, and Glen Road, Morley.

The homes will meet Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes, the system for measuring the environmental impact and energy efficiency of new homes.

Construction work will begin this month with completion in summer 2010.
