North West office for Southdale
Southdale has announced that it is set to double its turnover in the North West to over £30 million within the next six months and open its first ever office in the region.
The company, which specialises in the social and residential housing and public build arena, is currently building £16 million worth of schemes across the region in areas such as Manchester, Bolton, Lytham and Rochdale.
With headquarters in Halifax, the firm is set to open its first ever North West office in Warrington next month. It will house 20 staff headed-up by a regional director which Southdale is currently looking to recruit.
The growth of the business in the region, primarily within the affordable housing sector, is buoyed by the completion of phase two of its £10 million flagship scheme in Lytham. Southdale is transforming the Heyhouse estate on the Fylde coast through the creation of 111 new houses, bungalows and apartments by early September, on behalf of New Fylde Housing and Fylde Borough Council.
