Nottingham City Homes’ chief exec announces retirement
The chief executive of Nottingham City Homes, Chris Langstaff, has announced his intention to retire in six months time.
Langstaff will retire on 7 October after more than four years with Nottingham City Homes.
He said: “This has been a difficult decision for me and I will be very sad to leave.
”However, over the past four years, the company has gone from strength to strength. I now feel confident that we have built strong foundations – and it is the right time for a new Chief Executive to lead the company into the next phase.
“I have really enjoyed my time at NCH. With the support of our staff, the Board, our partners and involved tenants, we have achieved some fantastic results and transformed the company into one we can be proud of.”
Jane Todd, chief executive of Nottingham City Council, said: “Chris Langstaff has steered Nottingham City Homes into a two star organisation providing good quality services for tenants and working hard to modernise council housing and improve local neighbourhoods. He is leaving a company that is well-poised to move forward and meet the challenges ahead.”
