Online banking-style accounts for A2Dominion residents

Housing provider A2Dominion has launched an online banking-style feature to its website for its residents.

The feature, called My Account, was added to the website after being requested by a large number of residents. They can now check their rent statements and service charge statements online at any time of the day or night.

Offering the same security levels as online banking, My Account allows people to securely check what they owe and the payments they have made over the past 12 months and to update their personal details securely.

Lorna Anderson, A2Dominion’s customer services director, said: “We are committed to providing excellent services to our residents. A lot of people living in our homes expressed a wish for this sort of facility on the A2Dominion website, and we’re delighted to have now launched it.

“Traditionally, rent and service charge statements have always been sent through the post. While we will continue to do this, My Account will allow residents to find out their balance and access their account details whenever is most convenient for them.”

The second phase of My Account, due to be launched in 2011, will include services such as tracking a repair.
