Riverside Midlands tenant shortlisted at TPAS Awards

A Riverside Midlands tenant has been shortlisted for a Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) Award under the category of Tenant of the Year for the Central Region.

The TPAS awards are judged by representatives from Chartered Institution of Housing, the Tenant Service Authority and tenants from across the Midlands.

Graham Charlish is a tenant champion in helping his local community at Beaumanor, Leicester by taking the lead in community projects and making a difference strategically by working with Riverside locally and nationally as a tenant board member, the secretary of the Riverside Tenant & Residents Federation and tenant inspector.

He was nominated for all the hard work he does with Riverside and his local community and he beat off tough competition to become one of twelve tenants across the central region to be shortlisted.

The TPAS Central regional awards ceremony will take place in Birmingham on 1 April 2011 and the winners of the regional rounds will then go forward to the TPAS national award ceremony.
