Sutton Housing Partnership offers tenants training

Sutton Housing Partnership is offering council tenants and leaseholders free training workshops throughout October and November.

The workshops will focus on helping people to gain the skills they need to get back to work or embark on a volunteering role within the community.

Participants will be offered information, advice and guidance about routes to work, supported in producing a CV, and provided with interview techniques and presentation skills.

The training is being delivered by BTEC Level 4 qualified trainers and attendees will receive a certificate of accreditation.

Chief executive Andrew Taylor said: “We hope that by helping residents take these first steps with our training programme it will point them in the right direction for either getting back to or into work.”

The closing date for applications is 1 October.
