Sara Kilgannon is a Women In Construction success story.

At the age of 22, she swapped long term unemployment for an apprenticeship with Knowsley Housing Trust.

Since then, she has become a role model and inspiration to others, featuring in newspapers and magazines and appearing at national conferences, such as Fusions21’s to talk positively about her experiences as a female plumber and encouraging other women to consider a career in construction.
