More than 200 jobs have been saved at troubled construction firm Rok after an agreement in principle was reached to sell parts of the business to Mansell Construction Services but there will be a further 235 redundancies across remaining operations.
Around 1,800 jobs are to go at broken Rok, administrators have announced, after efforts to find a buyer for sections of the business fell through, bringing the tally of redundancies to around 2,700.
Rok plc the maintenance and building services group has announced that it has been selected by Ageas Insurance Limited (‘Ageas’) and Tesco Underwriting, to provide building repair, claims management and validation services to Tesco Underwriting’s home insurance customers.
